We are St. Gabriel – we specialize in wholesale trade of cut flowers and potted plants, and our company already employs nearly 100 colleagues.

You can find us not only in Jirny and Horní Počernice, but also in Brno, Slovakia, and the Netherlands.

In the team of Jakub, our CFO, you will also find payroll accountant Andrejka and Kristýna from Back Office Support – and they are looking forward to welcoming you.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Managing the entire financial accounting agenda – from invoices through banking to closing statements.
  • Keeping records of assets – registration, inventory, and depreciation.
  • Ensuring proper processing of VAT, Intrastat, and other mandatory reports.
  • Working in Pohoda and Florisoft (invoicing) systems.
  • Preparing monthly closings and reports for management.
  • Assisting with audit documentation and communicating with banks and advisors.
  • Handling records and reimbursements of company expenses (e.g., travel, parking).
  • Accounting also for the Slovak branch and maintaining regular contact with the Slovak accountant.
  • Managing receivables – including communication with legal advisors.
  • Drafting and reviewing accounting guidelines.

What do we expect from you?
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in double-entry bookkeeping according to Czech accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of working in the Pohoda accounting software (experience with other systems is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of tax matters.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel at an intermediate level or higher.
  • Precision, reliability, and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Start date: immediately or as soon as possible.
